How long can I film with a smartphone?

It all depends on the memory available on your phone. It is usually possible to add a micro-SD card to increase your phone's storage capacity. With 128GB of memory, you can film for 24 hours in HD.

What kind of tripod do I need with a PIXEM robot?

You need a tripod with 3/8" screws, which is the standard mounting for headless tripods. If you have a tripod with 1/4" screw, you can use a 1/4" to 3/8" adapter

Can the REC also be controlled from the watch with PIXEM?

Yes, with compatible smartphones and tablets, the watch can start and stop remote recording.
Only the essentials are recorded so as not to waste time on viewing!

Can we convert a PIXIO to a PIXEM (or Vice Versa)?

Yes, by purchasing the upgrade compatibility with cameras and phones and tablets + live streaming . This option allows you to add all PIXEM functions to your PIXIO robot.
Without the upgrade, either you control a smartphone /tablet with PIXEM or a camcorder with PIXIO.

It is still possible to fix a camcorder on PIXEM but you won't benefit from zoom and rec control. Inversely, you can set a smartphone / tablet on PIXIO but without zoom and rec control...

Can the PIXEM also take a camcorder?

Yes, but without the auto-zoom and without the remote control of the record from the watch or from the app..
